Boston Uncommon 8 - Colorful, Elegant and Summery
Libeco Home Cargese Napkin pulls this summery setting together

Libeco Home Cargese Napkin pulls this summery setting together

This the final installment in our Boston Uncommon Kitchen Tour series for 2010. Once again we feature a home in Boston's South End on West Canton Street. The dining area is colorful and so we chose something on the playful side. The Provencal Flatware by David Mellor and the Cargese Napkin by Libeco Home Belgian linen set a less formal tone, and we thing the whole setting would also be great for outdoor Summer dining.

It's not obvious, but the highlight of the setting is the Cargese napkin, which pulls in the Aqua and white colors from the Chilewich Lattice placemat, layered atop a white Chilewich Basketweave mat. More subtly, the gold of the napkin ties in the gold rivets of the flatware. The dinnerware is Jars Ceramics Plume in Ocean Blue whose curves are echoed by the stem of the Orrefors Balans Wine Glass.
