Gourd-geous Cocktails for Fall

Summer may be coming to an end, but remember, with the change in season comes fall colors—and fall flavors! Today, we have two fantastic fall cocktail recipes for you to sip on cool fall nights. Tell your friends, write them down, add your own twist—these are yours to enjoy!

The first cocktail recipe is a twist on a classic brunch drink—sit back and relax with an Apple Spice Mimosa! For this drink, you’ll need a bottle of champagne or prosecco, a jug of your favorite spiced apple cider, and an orange. Follow the recipe below to get started.

Apple Spice Mimosa (Prep: 5 minutes)

  1.  First, peel your orange and refrigerate the slices for a snack later. Save the peel.

  2. Second, pop that champagne! Pour half a glass of champagne into your favorite champagne flute.

  3. Third, fill the rest of the flute with spiced apple cider.

  4. Finally, garnish with an orange peel, and enjoy!

If you’re looking for new champagne flutes to add to your collection, we have a few beautiful suggestions to enhance any cocktail cabinet. First is the Iittala Essence Champagne Flute. This glass is handmade in Finland and captures the perfect balance between simplicity and elegance, while still remaining highly functional. These glasses come in pairs and fours, so you’ll always have enough for guests and family! Talk about the perfect entertaining stemware.

Another fantastic flute to look at is the Tritan Air Champagne Flute by Schott Zwiesel. This glass features an extremely delicate and soft shape, mimicking the classic champagne flute and adding a unique slightly flared lip.

The second recipe is for sipping—a Caramel Twist! To make the perfect Caramel Twist, you’ll need caramel liquor, peanut butter whiskey, and whiskey ice cubes. Enjoy a Caramel Twist by following the steps below.

Caramel Twist (Prep: 5 minutes)

  1. First, pour about a quarter glass or two fingers of peanut butter whiskey into a large whiskey glass.

  2. Second, pour a shot of caramel liquor into the glass and stir. A jigger is great for quick measuring. (If you prefer your drinks shaken, check out the Match Pewter Cocktail Shaker)

  3. Third, add as many ice cubes as you’d like and enjoy! If you don’t want to risk a watered-down cocktail, check out these Stainless Steel Ice Cubes by Orrefors.

A drink is only as good as the glass it’s poured into. Thankfully, we have a few gorgeous whiskey glasses to add the perfect touch to any cocktail party or date night-in.

First, the Schott Zwiesel “Glace Whiskey” (Double Old Fashion size) is a strikingly beautiful way to enjoy your drink. The pattern on the glass looks almost ice-like, making it a great glass for the fall and winter months.
