Last week, we shared the first of several posts in our Fall 2014 Cocktail Series that we staged and shot at local restaurant Nubar. The first recipe was a Classic Manhattan served in a Simon Pearce Geo glass.
This week's post introduces a different brand, iittala, and showcases one of Nubar's signature cocktail. The Nubar Rouge, served in an iittala Essence Cocktail Bowl, is a complex cocktail with a lot going on. It's slightly effervescent from a cava float at the end, which makes it a really unique and interesting drink. It's bright ruby color is also quite beautiful!
The Nubar Rouge includes Lillet Rouge, Don Ciccio, Hibiscus liqeuer, St. Germain liqeuer, and a splash of cava on top. Garnish with a lemon peel, if desired.
