Charles and Ray Eames were mid century pioneers who designed numerous things by using off-the-shelf stencils to label packaging and blueprints.  Recently, The New York Times featured the Eames Century Modern typeface that was the result of detailed research over ten years time by the Delaware type house, House Industries . Now, House Industries has partnered with Heath Ceramics to create a line of Eames house number tiles.

Heath Ceramics is another mid century pioneer whose potteries have been around since 1948.  With a crew of over 60 skilled craftsmen, Heath Ceramics used methods and techniques that were developed by the original founder, Edith Heath, throughout her life.
