Another week, another table setting! This week, we have more iittala to share - a "leftover" display from our iittala event last week. This setting showcases one of iittala's most popular dinnerware lines, Teema. Created by designer Kaj Franck, this collection features simple shapes and clean lines, and comes in a variety of colors.
In the center of the table, we placed an assortment of iittala Teema mugs, a Teema Teapot, a Kartio Karafe/Pitcher in water green, and two Teema serving bowls - a Deep Serving Bowl and a Ceramic Bowl with iittala Piano Workshop serving utensils.
Each individual place setting featured a Chilewich Oval Mini Basketweave Placemats in Grey Zinc, atop which were stacked iittala Teema Dinner Plates, Salad Plates, and Soup/Cereal Bowls. The dinnerware was shown in several different colors, including the soft Celadon Green, which is a new color introduced by iittala this year.
The flatware - from the iittala Piano Workshop Flatware collection - was set on individual iittala Wivtriini Trays. Glassware came from the Kartio collection, and included Kartio Tumblers in light blue and water green.
It was a simple, clean table setting, still keeping with the springy theme. Warm, bright colors - but nothing too bright or crazy. Perfect for the week leading up to spring. Now we just have to get the weather to comply!
