I've been wanting to try an egg baked in avocado, and found this great recipe on the blog The Garum Factory, by Jody Adams, the head chef from the nearby restaurant Rialto and her husband Ken (who stopped into the store the other day!). It was excellent, especially the hybrid guacamole salsa they make as a side. It's perfect in this little Pillivuyt condiment pot with a tiny Alessi Nuovo Milano mocha spoon to serve!
The Brasserie tableware from classic French porcelain brand Pillivuyt provides an instant chic cafe aesthetic. This is all oven safe, which gives me other ideas for adventurous breakfasts.
