A few weeks ago, we opened our new kitchen store, Local Root, conveniently located just down the block from Didriks at 221 Concord Avenue on Observatory Hill in Cambridge, MA. The store features a carefully chosen collection of pots and pans, bakeware, kitchen knives, and cooking utensils from both local companies like Vic Firth in Maine in addition to well-known brands like All-Clad, Le Creuset, Alessi, and more. But what excites us just as much as all the great kitchen products is the fact that we are also offering knife sharpening to the Boston/Cambridge area! We will gladly accept all straight edge kitchen knives for sharpening in-store, with a 24-hour turnaround time. Your knives will be returned to you sharper than ever,  donning new knife guards, and ready for culinary action. We hope you'll stop in for a visit, and bring your dull knives for sharpening!
