Boston Uncommon Setting 5 - Fun and Modern

Now the tour moves to the first of four locations in Boston's vibrant South End neighborhood. The table setting for this location on Appleton Street was a play on color, texture and shape. Underneath it all was the Modern Twist Pebbles placemat. Modern Twist mats have a great soft feeling to them, are not entirely opaque and have many great patterns that play with shape. We topped the mat with the gorgeous gray glaze of Jars Ceramics Vuelta plates and the modern-looking  iittala Artik stainless steel flatware. For color, we contrasted the Libeco Home Belgian linen Polylin napkin in Raspberry with the modern classic iittala Aalto tumbler in Water Green. The finishing touch was the pebbled texture of the iittala Ultima Thule dessert bowl. A suggestion for the napkin is to roll it in the Chilewich Raymaille Napkin Ring.
