Unparalleled Swedish Design by Skargaarden

Skargaarden, our newest outdoor furniture line, is constructed in Sweden and made of high-quality materials. Each piece features a unique and simple aesthetic that blends seamlessly into your outdoor space. Skargaarden is designed to withstand harsh New England weather while maintaining a sophisticated look year over year. In fact, Skargaarden collections are crafted from durable and natural materials like sustainably sourced, rot-resistant teak, and were originally designed to withstand harsh rain and sun near the Arctic circle. The minimalist pieces are then handcrafted by artisans expertly trained in the field.

Below, we’ve featured a few of our favorite collections and pieces—plus a little inspiration to get you started!

Anholt.png

Anholt is inspired by the Danish island Anholt, which is mostly desert. The collection was built to withstand this unique desert climate and stand tall through summers and winters across the Nordic desert. With frames constructed of aluminum and cushions designed to remain outdoors, this collection can be left outside for a wide array of seasons without showing signs of wear. If you’re looking for loungewear with a mixture of Danish and Swedish elements, Anholt is the perfect collection for you.

Asker.png

Asker is a delightfully unique collection of sofas and ottomans reminiscent of the calming neutrality of passing by Asker while sailing the length of the Oslofjord. The sofa is rounded and voluminous, yet angular and rigid, making for the ultimate lounging experience. It features an aluminum frame covered in plush cushions of QuickDry foam, covered in Sunbrella fabrics. According to Skargaarden, “the rain does not worry them, the sun does not bleach them”—how can you go wrong?

Bonan.png

Bönan was constructed with two thoughts in mind: it must encapsulate the look and feel of the small fishing village of Bönan and be of the highest quality to ensure it can be left outside all year long. Enter this collection of modular sofas, tables, ottomans, and more. All pieces feature a contrasting aluminum frame with cushions of Quickdry foam covered with Sunbrella outdoor fabrics for maximum durability. Contrasting tables with granite and teak tops can be used as a piece of the sofa, end-piece, or centered as a coffee table.

Djuro.png

Djurö is a cozy collection of teak lounge and dining pieces designed by Matilda Lindblom. Featuring a full teak construction and the option of added weather-resistant Batyline textile on both the sun lounger and armchairs, this collection is built to endure harsh summers while maintaining a rustic look. The collection can be oiled yearly to maintain its original color or skip the oiling for a patinated grey look over time. Both are delightful, cozy, and perfect for enjoying a day in the sun.

Grinda.png

Grinda is a collection of refined and minimalistic dining tables, chairs, and benches. They feature a black painted steel frame with a contrasting teak seat. This collection is known for comfort when considering the spring steel frames and the slight curvature of the teak. Entertain with ease, enjoy a dinner on the pier, or sit back and relax!

Reso.png

Reso is a minimalist’s dream. The collection features steel and fabric as its only two materials and offers a variety of colored finishes. It is based on the small fishing village, Resö, with graceful lines and solid construction. The various pieces feature differing lines, patterns, colors, and even textures, yet all meld together perfectly to create a simplistic dining or lounge set.
