Observatory Boutique Holiday Display
We had a holiday fair event at our Newton Lower Falls location (go check it out if you haven't been yet!) and local designers created gorgeous displays as part of the event decor. This is the first in a series of posts featuring these beautifully styled spaces, each was too detailed for only a few photos to do them justice.
I absolutely loved the tablescape and display created by local talented florist and stylist LauraJean Pecci at Observatory Boutique. Her design features a classically elegant base of white fluted porcelain from Royal Copenhagen with the rustic and organic accents I always associate with her style.
This table features Royal Copenhagen tableware, Sabre Djembe flatware, Match Pewter glassware and candle and serving accents, iittala Lempi glassware, and Libeco linen.
This design didn't stop with the table but extended to the walls and environment surrounding, pulling all into a unified whole. I loved the horn embellishments contrasted with the elegant white porcelain, the olive branches in the glasses echoing those same branches in the massive, luxurious floral centerpiece, the antique tray filled with sprouting bulbs, and the stunning wreath of grape vines accented with cedar and juniper.
Be sure to check out Observatory Boutique, just down the street from us here in Cambridge, to see more more beautiful organic styling (they have lovely jewelry designs as well, and I love LauraJean's instagram), and The Mill at Newton Lower Falls for any homeware needs!
