Greystone is the largest family estate ever built in Beverly Hills. The estate was originally built by Edward Laurence Doheny for his family.  The manse is now owned by the City of Beverly Hills and is used for community events, photo shoots, weddings and educational activities.  The 1920s English-gothic style mansion has been the backdrop for many movies including Indecent Proposal, The Bodyguards and Spiderman just to name a few. Veranda Magazine presented its third show house at Greystone raising funds to support this historic home. The event showcased the talent of 28 nationally known designers. Even though the mansion is a bit grander than our own homes, it was full of great design, renovation and decorating ideas.
