Table Setting: Dining Al Fresco
It has been quite some time since we shot a table setting outdoors, but with all the warm weather and sunshine lately, we finally had a chance last week. Meghan carefully constructed this cheery, summer-themed setting, incorporating plenty of contrasting pieces that each held their own, but also worked in unison with each other.
There was a distinct plaid/check pattern throughout, appearing in the brightly colored Libeco Home Indiana napkins, Sabre Tartan stainless steel flatware, and the Sabre Gingham Charm salad servers. The vibrant red Chilewich placemats made for a lovely backdrop, and the brightly painted fruits and vegetables of the Arabia Paratiisi dinnerware continued with the summery theme. Meghan mentioned the table had a subtle homage to independence day, but without the real traditional red, white, and blue look. She added hurricanes along the center of the table, a classic go-to decor item for outdoor dining.
