With each new year comes a new flood of products. Sometimes annually, sometimes seasonally, our brands will introduce a new collection or design, which we then in turn become familiar with, and introduce to our own customers.
It's always fun to receive a new product catalog, because we get to feast our eyes on the new goods, and get excited about offering them in our store. This year already, we've had plenty of new product introductions from brands like iittala, Libeco and Chilewich. We've already reviewed the new Libeco Home items, and today are going to take a peek at what's new from Chilewich!
Many of the 2014 additions to the Chilewich collection appear as new colors in existing patterns, but they have a couple of entirely new introductions as well. One such introduction is a line of Chilewich Mini Basketweave Wide Napkin Rings, which replaced an older version of the wide napkin ring with a different weave. These new napkin rings come in two blended rainbow color schemes, Confetti and Garden.
Additions to existing lines include a variety of new placemat colors, floormat colors, and even a couple of new linen napkin colors. In the Chilewich Basketweave Placemats collection, the new solid colors include Watermelon, Purple and Cement, and the new rainbow color blends include Botanic and Crayon (pictured above). The Botanic color blend features more greens and blues for a cooler effect, while the Crayon blend has warmer colors, like reds, oranges and yellows.
The Dahlia Placemats now come in two vibrant new colors, Lime and Orange, which are contrasting new additions to an otherwise neutral collection. The Mini Basketweave Floormats now come in Garden (another rainbow color blend) and Sandstone, and the Linen Napkins in Bone, Iris and Citrus.
The new color blend additions seem prominent this year, and are a welcome addition to the more neutral colors that Chilewich has produced in the past. Whether your taste is more subdued or more lively, there's really an option for everyone within the entire Chilewich collection.
